For someone who loves to write, a freelancing career is like a dream come true; you get to work as a free agent without all the stress of a regular 9 to 5 office job. And the craziness around freelancing would go unnoticed because you love it. Most people looking from the outside would think because the word “free” is incorporated in freelancing, freelancers do little or nothing which is not true.
But let’s be sincere, the life of a freelancer can be very fast paced. You always have something to write, a pitch to send and a contact to catch up with. No matter the amount of love you have for writing, freelancing can drain all your time and energy giving you little or no time for other things, if not managed well.
By now you already know that throwing children or family into this mix can be extra stressful. This is what freelance moms have to deal with every day of their life; they have to manage their freelance career alongside the needs and demands of their children and family.
